Speech Language Pathologists (SLP) are professionals educated in the study of human communication, its development, and its disorders. SLP's evaluate the speech, language, and cognitive- communication and swallowing of children and adults. Therapists determine what communication and swallowing problems exist and identify the best way to treat them.
